Kinda new on here - Updated Bio - About me

I've been somewhat of a lurker for about a month now. (Pretty busy between work, 4 year old, wedding planning, and an on-going custody battle with my ex-husband). Time permitting, I will post more. I added a BUNCH to my bio today. Pics galore. I'm 27 and work as a Transportation Planner in the Florida panhandle (I cover from Lillian, Alabama to Panama City/Bay County). I have a Bachelor's in Political Science from FSU and a Master's in Public Administration from Troy. The FI is part-owner in a building company; I've known him since high school but we lost touch for years and only found each other again this past January.

Welcome! It's great to have another Pensacola knottie! One of the first venues we looked at was the Pensacola Garden Society. The grounds are beautiful there. It looks like you've got a great start on your planning but if you want to chat about Pensacola vendors or anything else, let me know.

Thanks. We're doing almost everything ourselves so at this point our only vendor will be the photographer, which my grandmother picked and is paying for (and he's a friend of the family).

It's crazy with the holidays coming up....I'm sure the time is going to fly!!! We have a lot of the planning done, so I'm not stressed about it (I think it helps that I've planned a wedding before though...lol)

Welcome!!!  Nice bio.  I was actually updating my bio just now as well.I also registered at Honeyfund.com.  It's a great idea.  All my gifts received, thus far, have been on Honeyfund.  I am registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and no one has purchased from there yet...so I hope you have fun with it!DIY is a great way to go, if you have the help.  The only DIY I did were the invitations.  My sister-in-law hand painted them and then I had to put it all together.  It took forever to get it how I wanted it!!!!!  That was just the beginning!!!!  So make sure you give yourself enough time to do everything.  I ran out of time with my invites and people got them REALLY late!!!Again, welcome and I look forward to seeing more of your posts!
A happy newlywed...now time to start a family!

I did order my invites from Annsbridalbargains.com They are seal-n-sends and they were only $100 for 100 of them (actually trying to scan/upload them now). Yes I have them already and yes they're going out early...half the guest list is in Canada and I'm not sending save-the-dates. The bio took me a day to put together, and now I can't stop tweaking it....addictive..lol. I like DIY, but you do have to know what you have the time and patienc to do yourself.
