We got ours from Jean M. I think you have to order them through a dealer (a place that has one of those huge invitation books). They had some really nice designs if you are not into diy-ing them. My FIL is a printer so we were able to order them through him and got a big discount! Plus he ended up footing the bill for the rest!!! Saweet! Anyway, let me know if you decide to place an order, he may be able to get you a discount. GL!
Invites are kind of a work in progress as of now. My inserts were purchased from theamericanwedding.com.I bought star dream paper from paper-papers.com and am almost done cutting the pocket-folds. The hitch is that I can only go in and use the paper-cutter on fridays.I still have to buy some rhinestones, rhinestone buckles, ribbon and buy rubber stamp with our monogram.
I got mine from Wedding Paper Divas. They were great. I ordered them and within 24 got my digital proof and 2 days after I approved we had them at our house. There was a little mixup with the outer envelopes (they sent me the ones with no seal) but it was rectified and the next day we received the correct ones. They are very reasonable as far as price goes too. Check them out. They have a ton of options.
I designed mine with the help of my one to one teacher at the apple store. I bought the paper supplies from Kelly Paper (love them) and from Tom at Anchor Paper.
I got mine from Lindsey Ryan on etsy.com http://www.etsy.com/shop/LindseyRyanDesignHer designs totally fit the style I was looking for. At first I was hesitant to recommend her because sometimes she would lag or take a long time to respond and get my orders in on time, but in the end she got a lot better. She definitely came through in the end with delivering custom designed invitations and my guest sign in sheets. For the quality of work she does, her prices are amazingly affordable and it was all worth it in the end. GL!
I DIYd mine with creating the inserts & the invite in photoshop, and put together with pocketfolds I made myself, belly bands, and a monogram for the outside. PIB. I got all the paper from anchor paper and the cardstock for the pocketfolds from a local scrapbooking store. A knottie-turned vendor, Cheshirekat, did hers also, and has an etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/thecheshirekatdesign
We used Melody with emDOTzee Designs. She is AWESOME. She designs custom invites- she will design 12 for you, using your input, and you pick what you like (or pick and choose features from different ones). She was so responsive and professional, and we LOVE our invitations. Beautiful design and great quality. Her prices are better than many pre-made invites (comparable to somewhere like Wedding Paper Divas)- but your design is totally unique. I also liked supporting someone young and starting out with a new business- she does great work, and I'd rather my money go to someone like her than a big company. She is based in NC, but we did all our consults, etc over email. Definitely check her out! www.emdotzee.com
I second David's Bridal if you are not the diy type! I looked at all the wedding invitation websites and they had the same ones on David's bridal for about 20 % less!
