Gwenosaurus

I very much like your bio.  I definitely looked at all the links.

Re: Gwenosaurus

  • Thanks, FI and I worked together on those.  Some of them have real information and others are just random and silly.  A good reflection of our personalities I think.  I hope to put links in the rest of the sections someday.

  • Be careful with your registry links. . .it shows your full names and city.
  • I had no idea how young you were.  It's people like you who work to give younger brides a better name ;)

  • Good lord. I did a blog post with links to 5 etsy sellers today and that was exhausting. I'm highly impressed by your stamina and perseverence.

  • I also really like your flowers. If I was mandy, I'd ask you if you liked pizza and if you watch television.  But I'm not.

  • Thanks for the heads up mimandjon.  I originally made the website so family could see how planning was coming along and forgot to make it so people couldn't see personal information.  I fixed it.

  • I do like pizza and watch television, though I think I may be missing something here.

  • mandysmear "interviews" all the new-ish people she likes with a bunch of random questions.  Usually it involves the question "do you like pizza?"

  • I really like the "vibe" you are going for at the reception, with the lawn games and whatnot.  I think it would fit FI and I better than the "expected" blowout party that we're having (I realized I will do whatever it takes to make mothers happy).  I want a bocce ball tournament at my wedding!
  • "Do you like pizza?  I like pizza.  What are you favorite toppings?"

  • Cool!  I really like the  centerpiece inspirations with the grass in your bio.  I had considered doing something similar before I decided on colors for the flowers.

  • sisybermudiana, I am super excited about the lawn games.  My family has been really good about just letting us do whatever fits our personalities and not pressuring us to have some huge  party.  We're both really quiet and reserved, so a huge party wouldn't have been "us". I just hope it doesn't rain.

  • I just hit the "like" button for Gwen! VERY cool wedding!
  • Color me jealous.  I think I am going to suggest to FMIL that maybe we can have bocce ball at the RD...?  I would be a happy gal.
  • Bocce ball is pretty awesome.  I hope she goes for the idea. Thanks, Bec!  I hope the actual thing is every bit as cool as my bio makes it out to be.

  • FYI Gwen, I'm crashing your wedding.

  • Rach, awesome! I hope you're up for some bocce ball.

  • Bocce ball? Sure! I'm just pumped to be able to crash a P&E wedding without having to drive across the country.

  • Yeah, there don't seem to be very many knotties from the Toledo area.  The local board is completely lame.  I don't even get to crash your wedding, since Vegas is a bit far.
    Married! 8/7/10
  • But Vegas is awesome!! Roxy's crashing it--and I hope Sascha will too (hint) And She-Who-Shall-Remain-Nameless claimed she was going to crash with Roxy too...the more crashers the better I say! (And the Toledo board? Dead.)

  • Speaking of, where the eff did your bio go Rach?
  • Dang.  I guess I'll have to fly out and join the party then.

  • bahaha I took it down during the WW shit--I didn't want them crazies stalking me. And then I realized it was in serious need of updating--so, I figured I'd update it before I put it back up. I'm lame.

  • Gwen! I see you are at Case Western Reserve. My stepfather went there when it was just Case. He's old.

  • Cool! Did he study some sort of engineering? I think Case ate Western Reserve in 1967, so it had to have been before that.

  • I also love your site and clicked on all the links. I'm usually a lurker, but I just wanted to warn you that I read the above comments and clicked your registry button; when the pages open, your full names are still visible on the registry sites themselves. On another note, I think your reception idea is brilliant! :)

  • Thanks, I am still getting the hang of the whole website thing.

  • Gwen - I think he started in chemistry and went to math when he decided to be a computer programmer - because almost no schools had computer programming classes at that time (he did a PhD in computer science later at Cal Tech). I think he started in '64? That's funny. My mom's school changed names when she was there, but they didn't merge with anyone.
