Magizene/planner/pamphlet organization

Im in the process of planning my wedding and I find I have so many pamphlets that I want to hold onto, I have a huge wedding planner binder and lots of magizenes. What did you do with them all? Right now I have them sitting under my coffee table and I hate it! Did you have an organization routine? Thank you

  • I throw the magazines away.  I see no reason to save them.  They're 200 pages of ads, usually, and if there's anything I need to have I rip it out and throw it in my wedding planning accordion file.Said accordion file lives in our office with all our other crap.

  • I file all that stuff in the recycling bin.
  • Get a a three ring binder and some tabed sheets. It's the cheapest way to do it and you can customize it and make your own sections. I made the mistake of buying one from a book store and I didn't use half the sections!

  • I had a 3 ring binder that I would put all of my ideas in.  If I found something in a magazine that I liked I would take that page out and get rid of the rest of the magazine.
  • I kept the pamphlets in a box just so that I would have a few potential vendors on hand when I needed them. Every time I booked a vendor, I went through the box and threw away all of the other pamphlets for that type of vendor (e.g. once I booked my cake person, I threw away all other cake vendor pamphlets). I only had 1 or 2 magazines throughout the entire year I planned my wedding.I relied on the internet for most of my wedding ideas.

  • I file all that stuff in the recycling bin.This. Because the magazine would arrive, I maybe looked through it once, and never looked at it again. Also, I did most of my research and stuff online, too. The only things I really filed were my contracts.
