Damn!  I am 2 weeks before you - I am soo not ready to try on my dress! Mine is due end of Dec. On the bright side, it's pretty awesome you don't have to stress about it :) Can you post a pic of dress as a reminder?

Why do you have to make an appointment? My dress came in super early (a year before my wedding) and I let it sit there for 8 months until I tried it on.  If you aren't ready to go and try it on, don't go.

Agree with pp. Do you have to go?  Or no? Just maybe forget you got the call. LOL

I'm assuming you have to go to make a final payment?  If so, then go, check out the dress to make sure it's the right one, etc. and then say see you in 2 months for alterations.

True!  I am excited that I know it's here and I don't have to worry about it coming in weeks before the wedding.  What dress are you wearing?

Oh, good I just assumed I had to try it on now.  I'm waiting then, there is no reason to be putting that on right now!  It was a bad idea to get married after thanksgiving and christmas ugh!

My dress came in last month and I had to go give my final payment and do an inspection to make sure it was the right dress, looked good-no defects etc.  I really liked going, because I had been dying to see my dress again, I also liked knowing for sure that it was the right one.  I didnt want to be stuck with a few months left and the wrong dress.

Actually I take back what I said.  You should try it on, not for alterations, but to make sure it is the right size and will fit you now in case the shape you want to get in to isn't fully completed.
