Low-key reception sites near Albany

Has anyone been to a nice, low-key wedding in the Albany area?  We don't really want to throw a fancy reception, because it's not our style, but I'm having trouble finding a cheaper place that is not out-dated.  We were thinking the Schenectady Holiday Inn.  Any thoughts?

Try Altamont Manor. My brothers wedding was there and a freidn got married there! It's beautiful!!!

Thanks for the tips so far! Has any one been to the Settles Hill Tree Farm? It looks nice, but there are hardly any pictures online.

ugh I wish I had seen this sooner!  I'm having my wedding at Settles Hill Tree Farm next year.  Definitely go see it in person, it's really nice!  All hardwood floors, no busy carpeting or curtains.  Very simple, but VERY pretty.  And they just had the outdoor ceremony site built and it's gorgeous!

Hi. We just had our engagement party at Martel's at the golf course in Albany.  It was amazing.
