Does anyone know how much time you should give guests to send the reply card back?  My reception venue needs an approximate count 1 week prior and a final count 72 hours prior. I was thinking about having the reply date between 2 and 3 weeks before the wedding...does this sound right?Thanks!

    I would say three weeks, so you have a week to phone those who don't reply on time.

    I would do 3 weeks, then give 4 days for any replies that were put in the mail that day (because that's what some people think that date means) and then you'll have about a week to nail down the last of your RSVPs before your 3-days-out count is due.

    I had to give final headcount 2 weeks before wedding, so I made my RSVP date 3 weeks before the wedding.. that way I could have a week to call people who didn't respond.
