alterations in the kent/stow area?

the place i'm currently getting alterations done at is making me very nervous. they aren't treating me well, already screwed up something, and overall just really intimidating me with their behavior/tone when they talk to me. basically, they aren't treating me like a paying customer.

please someone help with a recommendation! our wedding is july 10th!
thank you!

How frustrating! I don't have specific recs offhand in that area, though I know there are a few seamstresses who'll do bridal gowns. If you'd be willing to travel for an AWESOME yet reasonably priced seamstress, I highly reccommend Denise at Julianne's Bridal Outlet in Olmsted Falls. She's in the southwestern Cleveland area. My bridal gown alts only cost me something like $65. She also did a BM dress for me when I was in my brother's wedding a year later. Great work and low prices! Also, she'll work on any dress from any shop.

IMO, it would be worth the drive. Make an afternoon of it and have lunch near there (walking distance) at either Clementine's or Bistro du Beaujolais. Julianne's is in 'Grand Pacific Junction', a cute walkable area of adorable shops. From Kent, the best bet would be to take the turnpike and exit at I-71 north. Get off at Bagley Rd. heading west. At Columbia, turn right. Julianne's will be on the left. (If you cross the railroad tracks, you've gone too far -- turn around.) Lots of parking behind the building and generally within the shopping complex. It's probably an hour away from Kent (or just under).

If you don't have the means to travel that far, hopefully someone will rec. someone closer for you. Good luck!
