Ok people... I called the number on his website and talked to his brother Ron. Apparently he moved, and when he moved all his information (like email address/phone number) had to change. His brother Ron gave me the new contact information jeffandcompany@gmail.com401-398-0929I am still a little scared about this. My wedding is in 10 days. What would you guys do?

He should have called all his brides and informed them of the change - I think he is just not great at the "business" end of his business.  It sucks - I worried about him every day up until my wedding.  But he does deliver - beautiful arrangements.  You'll be fine.

I hope you get in touch with him soon...this is not the type of stress you need 10 days before your wedding.  Hang in there and let us know when he gets in touch with you...personally, if I were a vendor of this nature and moving/changing ALL my contact info I'd contact my brides and let them know.  How inconsiderate!

I don't know what you should do but I am not sure about him. I called him before my wedding. He called me back and set up a date to meet. When he called I caught him on the answering machine. Well, a few minutes later my phone rang and I heard him again on my machine ( my phone only rings twice before it picks up) and he was leaving me ( Stacy) a message about setting up a meeting. I then listened to both messages and I guess when he spoke to me he thought he was calling someone else. I am sure he had a list and just skipped one but I thought I should let you know. I am sure you are busy but I recommend going to his shop and talking with him and making sure he is on track. Trust me from my own experience if a florist shows up with flowers that are wrong there is not much you can do. If you watch who’s wedding is it anyways: no no that is not the color I wanted is not possible. Good Luck!

If I were you I would continue to try and contact him to the level of harrassment at this point and insist on an in person meeting. If he is in the process of a move and has failed to inform his brides I wouldn't be surprised if he has misplaced order information and such. If he doesn't get back to you in a couple of days I would contact another florist about their availability to at least provide you with bouquets for the day of. I'm really disappointed in Jeff lately! Good luck and keep us informed.

The woman who is doing my wedding isn't well known yet but she is very talented an reliable. She has been in the industry for a few years working under wedding florists. She just recently moved back to the area because she finished a graduate program in NYC. Her work is beautiful and her prices are really reasonable. I m sure she may be able to help you her name is Julia Huggins and her email is jhfloraldesigns@gmail.comI really hope everything works out with him but if not she may be able to help.

I used Jeff and Co for my October wedding.I liked that he had such different ideas but agree with the others that he does have some stuff he needs to work on with the business end of things. I did read some luke warm reviews and got nervous before my wedding.this is what I did. i set up a final meeting with him. I took my contract with him and I typed up a list of everything I needed with a description so there was no mistake with anything whatsoever. For example...my bouquet--I told him I wanted all white flowers with hints of limegreen since the groom was going to be in a black tux with a lime green tie. I said the approx. size and what was important to me--fresh, seasonal flowers and I wanted a bouqet with lots of texture. i attached pictures.I must have looked like the biggest OCD bridezilla, but I was nervous and I had a decent floral budget and wanted them right. My document was entitled Final Floral Mtg and it was 4 pages long, painfully description, but he followed it to a tee.he went above and beyond for my flowers, adding in 12 cocktail hour pieces not in my original contract and tons of candles. everything looked fabulous...

First of all, I do think you will be fine and that Jeff will deliver.  I've heard a couple shaky reviews of him but most things are very positive. But I'll use this as a chance to say...   I didn't want to admit this, but Jeff kinda rubbed me the wrong way when I met him.  I don't question his talent.   But we met at his house, and had to ring the bell and knock on the door repeatedly to get an answer.  His dog was all up on my mother and myself the whole time (we're not dog people).  He was smoking (ugh) and kept getting up from the table to cook his dinner.  He barely had any pictures to show us.  But the real thing that made me ultimately rank him #3 out of my 4 options was that he was one of the florists who didn't really get my view and seemed to have his own agenda.  When I kept saying I like traditional style, he kept giving very modern ideas.  It just didn't click for me.Based on pictures I've seen from girls lately, I would definitely say he does nice work.  Just not my type of businessman, for sure.
