  Define "ready." We've gotten nothing done in the house that we had planned, but we've both come to the realization that it probably doesn't matter.  We haven't started buying anything, but our baby shower is this weekend, so we'll probably go shopping after that.  We kicked the cats out of the bedroom the night before last night for the first time. (we need to start training them not to come into the bedroom to keep the pet hair down and keep them away from snuggling with the baby while we sleep).  It was torture.  We couldn't keep them out last night, so I'm not sure what we're going to do.  Probably get a canopy for the bassinet to keep them out of that.DH is more ready than I am - he just wants to meet her.  I'm ok with her staying in for another several weeks.

  They were very confused.  When I got up in the morning they all looked at me like "what did we DO?!" And it was lonely in the bed.  It's wierd not sleeping w/ at least 4 or 5 cats snuggled in bed with you.  Last night, they ran into the room and jumped on the bed before we could shut them out.

  December 15.  So, basically, anytime between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
