Ring Appraiser Recs?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, trustworthy, fair place to take my e-ring to get appraised?  I'm having no luck with Zales in Towson Town Center and just want to get this done so I can take care of the insurance.  I was going to take it to Samuelson's Diamonds but I'm having some serious doubts after some e-mailing back-and-forth with someone there.  I just don't want to get cheated by someone who's trying to convince me to sell it to them (for less than it's worth).  Thanks in advance!

    DH got my ring appraised at the same place he purchased the ring - CR Jewelers in Arundel Mills Mall. If you go there, be sure to ask for Charles, the manager. He was wonderful to us (we got all 3 rings there, plus several gifts). But the other people there are iffy - we didn't like working with anyone else.

    Thanks, girls.  I may try to get Charles at CR Jewelers - it gives me an excuse to go to Arundel Mills Mall!

    You can also call your insurance agent.  They may have someone that they can suggest.

    Weezie - I hadn't even considered that, but it's a really good idea.  This is why I come to TK, someone always points out something I'm missing!

    I took mine to Charles Nusinov & Sons in Parkville. They were very reasonable and quick!Ian Saunders is the Gemologist. 8720 Satyr Hill Road Parkville, MD 21234 (410)661-5050. I got an appointment the same day! Good Luck!
