I was married almost 3 weeks ago and was just curious how long it takes to get our marriage licsense in the mail? I want to hurry and get my name changed! TIA!

    No idea, I still don't have my certified copy, LOL!  I've been married over a year.   I never sent for it. I do have a certificate that was signed by the officiant, witnesses, etc but it's not "certified"....but it's good enough to use for most name changes... as I just have to call them.

    Do you mean the certified copy of the marriage certificate? We were told to apply for ours after 2 weeks. Is this something that the chapel were going to do for you? It costs $15 and you can do it onlinehttp://www.accessclarkcounty.com/depts/clerk/Pages/marriage_information.aspx

    I applied for mine on-line and had it within two weeks.  I needed it for work, insurance, SSA and just recently for the DMV as they only wanted the certified copy with the raised seal.

    Mine took about 3 weeks.  After some confussion, the copy I ordered they no longer offered it.  So after I resent it all back it took about 2 weeks.  I would call them, they can tell you when it was mailed out.

    I ordered it online using my credit card on the Clark County Web site. We had it within the week and only $18. We did get a mailed offer from someone else for $25 ... glad I went to the official site though.
