For the badges: does everyone start at 0 when the new format kicks in, or do we move forward with our current posting count?

Trix - my understanding is that you keep your post count, and the badges are assigned based on what you already have.

The Nest has those badges. I'm a Bronze poster over there. Oh, and the threads there DO bold when someone posts a new response, they just STAY bolded (which is annoying) when the thread gets to be like one here that'd have a star (enough views/responses).

Yeah, then it'll probably unbold even when it's a popular thread. That'd be good. The fact that it shows the last poster helps with that, though.

So whatever happened to "If someone wants to delete a post, that's their right and blah blah blah..."? Did someone (correctly) point out that the subsequent posters had an equal right to *not* have their replies deleted?
