Wedding Cake - Akron/Canton Area

So we had a cake tasting with a baker in Canton that did not go well and so I am searching for a new bakery for our wedding cake. Our reception is in Canton so I would like to hopefully find a bakery in the Akron/Canton area. I would also like to keep the price to under $3 per person. Thanks in advance for your help and input.

Zoey's in Coventry is 2 a slice but I don't know how good the cakes are.  I've heard mixed reviews....friend used her, loved her...another friend used her and said cake was dry.  No website her number is 330.644.4905 Icing Princess is 1.50 a slice....I haven't met with her yet so I can't tell you if the cake is good or not.  www.icingprincess.comAcme is 2.50 a slice (but if you meet with them, they go by the size of the cake and say roughly 2.50 a serving)  and Giant Eagle is 2.69 a slice.Hope this helps!

You should definitely try A Bit of New York located in Hinckley. They charge $2.25 per person. They are absolutely amazing. The phone number is 330-225-2995. This is where I will be getting my cake from. Let me know if you would like any more information!! I promise you will not be disappointed!P.S. - I may be just a little bit biased because my FMIL owns this bakery - but really, they have AMAZING stuff for very reasonable prices!!

We used the West Side Bakery and they were amazing.  I took in a picture of my dress and they were able to immulate the design onto the cake, it was perfect.  Also, the cake was delicious!http://www.thewestsidebakery.com/

We used Lisa Fink of All Occasions Bakery.  The cake was beautiful and tasted fabulous.  Best of all, the pricing was great.  We had a four tiered cake with fondant plus sheet cake (in total, it fed over 300 people) for about $2/person.  Plus, I could use the bridal bucks from Today's Bride.  Our family has used her talents for a baby shower, baptism, and birthday too!

If you are interested in the Reeves cakes, I know they are having an open house this Saturday.
