Huge favor to ask.....I need some advice!

I wanted to order my invitations today for a couple different reasons one of which being I'm off work and have the time to sit down and talk to the staff. HOWEVER, after showing my mom a picture of the invitation set she threw a fit about the reception card. She doesn't like the way it says 'adult reception' in the numbers. I've posted a picture of the card on our website (under galleries) I really don't want to change the wording but I'm not sure how to include 'adult reception'. Please check it out and let me know what you think. If you think it needs to be worded differently or if you think people will see it just fine. Thanks so much!!!

I couldn't get to your website - but some suggestions to get around the blaring ADULT ONLY - could be to put "number of adults attending__" on the response card or put "Adult Reception following ceremony" on the invitiations.

There's an article on the Knot somewhere about proper etiquette for handling the wording of "adult only" receptions. Trying doing a search for it real quick.

You invite only the adults to your wedding- not everyone. You cannot invite children to the actual wedding and not to the reception- it is poor etiquette. If you do want a child free wedding though, put "Bob and Karen Smith" on the invitation rather than "The Smith Family". That shows that you are only inviting the two of them and not their 3 kids also and if they RSVP with more than who are invited, call them up and politely let them know.
