For our honeymoon we stayed at the Occidental Grand Xcaret. I wouldn't recommend it again. The resort was absolutely beautiful but the food was not great. I'd rate it about a C. My cousin and my friend both stayed at the Aventura Spa Palace this summer and they raved about the resort. DH and I always say if we got back we'll probably stay there

I would highly suggest the Iberostar Grand Hotel . We stayed there last summer and loved it. Beautiful hotel with excellent service. My sister stayed at the new Secrets Maroma and she said it was simply amazing.

We stayed at Iberostar Grand and we LOVE LOVE LOVED it. Great food and service. VERY clean. I honestly went there thinking "great we are going to mx for our honeymoon....spring break all over again..." It was perfect and we can't wait to go back. I already told my TA to let me know if there are any deals.

We stayed in between RM and Cancun. It was Excellence Playa Mujeres. Beautiful place and I can't wait to go back. The rooftop rooms are amazing.

Agree with CM Excellence Playa Mujers (right outside of RM) but AMAZING from top to bottom, food was fantastic, service was amazing, drinks were top shelf and delicious, rooms are beyond incredible and best of all - its very inexpensive. You must get a rooftop room :)

I went there for my HM and stayed at Occidental Royal Hideaway.  It was AMAZING!  The service is terrific and the restaurants/food is all 5 star!  I did not have one complaint about this place.
