AW: I gots a new jobby job!

I'm moving on up to an office job! I'm sure I'll miss production but the fact that I won't be wearing steel toed shoes every day is a big excitement. Plus I won't have to take call anymore, and I can still get my dirty fix when I visit the plants I support. I will definitely need a new wardrobe, though.Details will be worked out soon, but I'll start before the end of the year!

Yes, Winged, that's the one! They sure took their sweet time (although they have gone just short of telling me I got it the whole time, I have already started training for it).Fallin, I got a promotion a few weeks ago, which is not the same as a new job in my weirdo company. A promotion is more money and a higher point level, not necessarily doing something different. I keep my promotion when I move to this job though.

yeah, promotion and new job in a month is awesome. My H company works the same way though. You get promoted through levels independlty of your job assignment.

Congrats SB! That is great. Regarding corporate working wear for women, I recommended this blog awhile back. Not sure how formal your office is, but they are good at spotting deals and there's usually good discussion about interpretting dress codes and the like. http://corporette.com/

That's it lindsay, thanks! Obviously you're encroaching on Mod's fashionista status.We aren't formal at all, and I still have to follow closed toe shoes, pants, and shirts with a sleeve, but I definitely need to step it up from jeans and schlubby jeans.
