Why Italy sucks.H went back to Italy on Wednesday. Today, he calls to tell me that we got pinged for a $2000 gas bill while we were gone!! Why $2000? Because in Italy, they don't check the gas meter. It's the customer's responsibility to call the company and report the numbers. Only- no one bothered to tell us this. We were told by the mobility group (the people who helped us move, set up our bank accounts, utilities, etc) that everything came on one bill as all utilities are billed through the same company and they set it up to pay automatically. They neglected the separate gas bill. Thanks f*ckers. Thanks a lot. Also, thanks to the company for hitting us with a one time payment to cover the past 17 months worth of bills. Can I come back to the US already?
