I am bored this Friday night and watching 'Say Yes to The Dress' so I want to hear crazy bridal consultant stories. P.S. Anyone think Camille from the show resemble Java the Hut.

I couldn't buy a dress from her. Seriously. She has no idea how big her lips are, apparently, because her lip liner is all over the place. I am not a fashion person, and I'd be terrified she'd put me in something obnoxious.

i don't have many bad consultant stories, but i did stop by one place on a day they were closed. i peaked into the window to scope out all of the dresses i could and i noticed something weird with one of the gowns in the window. there was a big black spot. i finally figured out that it was a gown with a lacey overlayer and a HUGE palmetto bug (roach) had managed to crawl up the dress and was in between the 2 layers.it was pretty gross. i always refer to minervas as the roach store.

Sarah, that's awful. Did you go back to the store later? I'm petrified of spiders, and now you've freaked me out that there could be a spider in my dress. Which is being stored at the bridal shop. EEW!

When I was a freshman in HS, we lived in an apartment one summer because our old house sold faster than expected and our new house wasn't finished yet. I had an old comforter that the top was black with white stars. I saw a spider on the wall above my bed at about 2 am & tried to kill it. It hit the bed, and eventually mom & my sister & I spent 2 hours looking for it, taking my bed apart, washing stuff, and putting it back together.The Orkin man came the next day. I don't think I slept for a week.

Yeah, I'm gonna have nightmares now. FI is not here either. I hope the dogs can kill spiders. A huge one came in the front door with us a few nights ago. I was very calm but very urgent. I have to watch them till they're dead so that they don't hide. And, they have to be flushed. The trash is not sufficient.
