Anyone going shopping on Black Friday?

This bored is kind of slow today, so I thought I would post. Is anyone going shopping on Black Friday? What stores? And feel free to add whatever else you want. BF and I (and our roommate and probably BF's best friend and his FI) are hitting Best Buy first. We got there pretty early last year, but we may have to get there earlier this year. I'm not sure where else we are going. Maybe to Michaels so I can stock up on canvases. We might try to get our Christmas shopping done then(we aren't doing presents each night for Chanukah this year, but it'll still be fun to celebrate it with them.) And my random thing to add is we are going to Red Lobster for dinner tonight!(it's my favorite restaurant). I don't know what to get... I usually never do and end up getting the same thing.. What do you guys like from Red Lobster?

I personally think you are crazy or have balls of steel to do the black friday thing, in person. You can also go online and buy things on the website at midnight the day after thanksgiving. No drunk online shopping ;). From Red Lobster I have a little obsession with cheezy rolls. You should have one for me, or ten, because that's how many I would eat. Seriously, I have issues with bread.

I hate crowds, so normally I avoid Black Friday like the plague. But if I wanted a computer or TV or something, I'd endure Black Friday to get the sweet, sweet deals I've heard Best Buy has then.

Ya they do. I might be getting a laptop this year on Black Friday. The sony laptops I like are 400 and if I get one with a blu ray player its 480. so those are good deals. We also have to get there early because we are planning to get BF's dad a PS3 for Christmas.

laptop with blu ray for 480? that's amazing! Oh! And eat a cheesy biscuit for me, too, okay? I rarely go to Red Lobster b/c I don't eat seafood. But when I do, I try  to stuff as many into my mouth at once as will fit. My plate looks like a bomb when off when I finally collapse into a food coma.Yup, I'm a freak for biscuits. And a total whore for mashed potatoes.

I am!  But to get myself a new washer/dryer.This is the "official BF" site, which compiles all of the BF ads, as they get published.  Most of the sales haven't been announced yet, so nothing on the site is "guaranteed" until after the sales papers come out, but it's usually pretty accurate.http://bfads.net/

Mmm.. Red Lobster was delicious. On the way there we were talking and he asked if about these boards..any interesting (yes, sometimes he asks. lol) and I told him another person got engaged and he had this smirk on this face and said gee, I wonder when your turn will be. No, it didn't happen tonight. But he is making it sound like it might be happening soon-ish. His coworkers are even asking him when. But anyways, I got something different at red lobster. I got the Pacific red rockfish-blackened. It was good but not very filling. But my lobster mashed potatoes were. And I had a caesar salad(with no cheese) and a few biscuits. I also had a Berry Mango Daiquiri :)

I worked retail/restaurant for eight years, and had to work doubles (7am - 1am) on Thanksgiving for six of those years. That being said, I will be avoiding public places at all costs on Black Friday. :)
