Help: Evergreen House or Woodend??!!

My fiance and I are about ready to flip a coin between Woodend, the Audubon Society Sanctuary in Chevy Chase and Evergreen House, the Johns Hopkins museum in Baltimore. Above all, we want our guests to have a really fun night. Any compelling reasons anyone can offer for picking one over the other??

I went to a wedding at the Woodend.  It was beautiful and I had a lot of fun.  My only complaint was the heat factor - granted this was a July wedding and it was outside...it was pretty hot, even with the fans...I don't know anything about the Evergreen House, so I cannot comment.

I loved the Woodend! I ended up contracting with Rockville Rooftop instead because I thought the Woodend would be too small for our event. Only thing I would have been worried about is how old that tent is and does it have any leaks?

I have not seen the Evergreen House, so I can't compare...but my thoughts on Woodend are that while it is lovely, and the grounds are really pretty...the interior can look a little worn.  I know they use the place for school trips, camps and other educational stuff so it gets a lot of wear and tear during the week, and I kind of think it shows.  However, this probably won't be as noticeable in the evening by candlelight.
