Local invitation stores?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I didn't see it in the archives. Do you ladies know of any invitation shops that you can walk into and just pick what you want right then and there? Maybe even just DIY kits? We want pocket invites, but it's so hard to find the color/style I want. I live in Thornton, but can pretty much go anywhere in the Denver area. I've looked at Michaels and Target, etc, and just can't find what I like. I also don't want to spend a ton of money on paper. Thanks!

If you want DIY kits, check out Archivers (Westminster, HR, or Aurora) it is a stamping/scrapbooking store that has a line of pocketfold invitations called "yours truely" & the come in ALL different colors!  (google them for coupon codes before ya go!) :)

We bought all our paper goods though Alison at the Fancy Envelope.  It is in Windosr however.  I was like you, I wanted to see examples before buying anything.  Alison was great to work with.  And she has a ton of selection to choose from.  www.thefancyenvelope.comI highly recommend her and her business.

Thanks! Does anyone have any Archivers coupons they're not going to use? I searched online for some, but they're either all expired or won't show up.

sorry, my most recent coupon for Archivers expired on Nov 5th.  I know they will sign you up for coupons via their email list if you want them to (just ask the cashier).  The Archivers in Aurora also has a big book of "sample" invites that you could copy or use as inspiration if you decide you like the "yours truely" line of pocketfolds :)

We are getting ours from Marvinna at Platinum Invitations.  She is in Westminster or it might be Broomfield.  Here's her websitehttp://platinvites.wordpress.com/wedding-invitations/pocket-fold-invitations/

I used the yours truly line from Archivers but didn't do pocket folds. My most recent email from them is just advertising their anniversary sale this weekend but no coupons. There isn't anything on there about their invite line being on sale but it may be worth a look and if not you could always get on their email list for coupons. I went to the one in Westminster and they always have a great selection and a lot in stock.

Does Archivers have kits with all the stamps, paper & everything included? I'm not familiar with it and am just wondering how it works...
