Solas Photgraphy- Enagement Photos

Hi everyone,After a lot of suggestions about Solas photography, I have looked into them and booked my engagement pictures with them next weekend.  They said we were going to meet at Italian Lake, which is a place where they commonly shoot.  I was wondering if anyone else has pictures from there?  I'd love to see the background, and see which colors to wear so I don't blend in, haha.  Any help would be great!!  Thanks so much!

I got my engagement pics done by Solas last weekend at Fort Hunter. Only the husband was there (the wife was meeting with another bride that day) but we liked him and we're hoping the pictures turn out great. He said they currently have a 1 to 1.5 week turnaround so I will post some pics when we get them. And you def. can't beat their prices.

I just had my e-pics done at Italian Lake last Sunday with Solas. Since my wedding is next fall, I wanted fall colors as our e-pic background. There was still one tree with all it's orangish/red leaves, but most are bare. There are also green pine trees, the grass was still fairly green and there's a nice little red bridge over the lake for some great shots!  Oh, but beware...there are geese along with their big droppings EVERYWHERE!  My FI and I wore blue jeans and black sweaters. If you can, you may want to do a drive by beforehand.

Brown-- I will definitely post some whenever we get them backEmily-- Thank you so much for sharing your pictures.  I actually saw one of your pictures on Solas website and thought you guys were such a cute couple.  Your pictures are gorgeous!Diane-- Thank you, I hope our turn around time is just as good as yours, and I can't wait to see your picturesMrsbfm-- Thank you too!  I will definitely have to watch out for the geese and droppings.  I was thinking about wearing a yellow sweater, or an off-white one, I wasn't really sure.  Would you recommend heels or flats?  And I'd imagine you wear the same outfit the whole time, right??

I wore black shoes that had a square heel.  I was going to originally wear white, but because of the season, thought otherwise, so off-white would be nice.  Heidi & Sean work with whatever you wear with their lighting "discs" (not sure what they're called but they had silver & gold ones) to capture the best light.

Oh and yes, I wore the same thing throughout the shoot AND tomorrow is to be warm and there's not much shade there. So be cool cuz we were very hot last Sunday during our shoot since most pics were out in the open sun!
