East Coast Girl Getting Married in Cali! Help!

Help is really needed! I'm from New England but would like to get married in California since I don't have a lot of family and all of my fiance's family lives in and around Hayward. Can you please recommend a reception and/or ceremony site around there!? I wouldn't want anything further than 1.5 hours away. I'm guessig no more than 80 guests and the cheaper the better. By the way...does that area have a name that would make it easier for me to call it by? Also, I'm thinking of setting the date in the month of February...what's the whether like over there during that time?

This board is a little slow most of the time and Hayward is going to be better represented on the Northern CA board. The Bay Area girls hang out there. The weather is going to be pretty cold in Feb. Of course no snow, but cold and rainy.

Hi,  Hayward is part of the East Bay of the SF Bay Area. Weather is usually cooler but sunny.  The Weather Channel website has an option for couples to find out what the weather might be like on their wedding day.  Alot of nice Country Clubs from Hayward to Danville/San Ramon area.  My friends had their reception at one and did not have to be members to have it there.  Lots of pretty churches too.  Vineyards in Livermore have wedding packages too.Good luck on your search!
