I'm watching HGTV.  This couple is trying to sell their home.  I would be so embarressed to be on TV if I was them.  Their house has so much crap, no wonder it won't sell.I'm also trying to figure out what to have for lunch.






What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    I'm setting my fantasy teams, watching all the pregame stuff, and playing on the interwebz. Scoot just went to work for a couple hours, then he's going to come home with lunch and we're going to watch the Vikings kill the lions and drink beer. It's gonna be awesome.

    Watching Bobby Flay cook - my Dh would die to be his next door neighbor.  DS is cleaning crap off his floor so I can shampoo his carpet.  I have way too much cleaning crap planned for today and I know I can't get it all done.  Not.happy.about.that.

    CS - is that one of the most ridicoulus 'honors' you can give your friends.Seriously, who the hell wants to hear your not a BM but here are some 'small responsibilities' and you need to wear this color?

    kmmssg - my DH does not like Bobby Flay, he claims he is an a$$.   (he knew him back in the day).   DH is flying to Lake Tahoe to work with one of the Top Chef's guest judge on next weeks episode. He is pretty excited about that.

    Writing a paper...actually, I hand-wrote it on Friday at school while my kids were working, so I am typing it.  Then I need to write two bibliographies (I HATE APA) and finish laundry... On the bright side, DH already did the grocery shopping today, so I don't have to go out at all...I'm all showered in in my sweats for the day!

    CS - I think some brides overthink how disappointed people are over not being a BM and try to 'make up' for it.I admit I was disappointed not being in my brother's wedding.  Then I saw the benefits of not being a BM and quickly got over it. The dresses were horrible.  My sister was so jealous I was able to wear a beautiful dress and she couldn't.From then on, if I was asked I happily agreed.  If I wasn't I didn't think twice about it and was happy just being a plain ole guest.

    I forgot there was a Thursday game, and so I didn't switch my backup QB Alex Smith to my regular QB Matt Ryan in one of my leagues (Ryan had a bye last week). So how pissed off was I when I logged in on Friday to set my sh*t up and saw that my QB had already played, and gotten me 2 motherf*cking points. 2 POINTS.

    That is funny Nugget.  I'm of Irish descent and love my potatoes.  But not for breakfest for some reason. It drives DH crazy because I always order my breakfast without the potatoes.  He does not understand why I'm being difficult.  I just do not see the point in wasting food.

    I'm playing with Leo while the carpet men are *finally* putting the new carpet upstairs. They're a little to creepy to be alone with all day and H is at work, so now my mom is coming over to keep my company. Too bad I'll probably be sick of her "good ideas" for our house and puppy in about 20 minutes. But I need to use her SUV later today, so I guess I'll deal :)

    Have a good shower Tide!As for me, I'm watching FI play xbox, finding a good sugar cookie frosting recipe and debating what I'm hungry for.  Mom is coming by later this afternoon to borrow my espresso machine so we have to dig it up out of the basement and lug it upstairs, heavy SOB it is.  Otherwise, running some laundry and cleaning up a bit.
