Venue indoors with outdoor feel

Hi ladies-I am a CFL knottie, but I am also the MOH for my best friend who lives in the MD area. She is looking for a venue that can accommodate 100+ with the reception indoors with an outdoor feel (having lots of windows, greenery, etc.)The kicker is she would like to stay at 2K or less with the rental fee.If you can suggest any locations that match this (or come close), I would greatly appreciate it!TIA!

Our venue is sort of like that...but not really...its glen echo park...check out my bio for infothere is also raspberry plain or newton white mansion...both have large windows that allow the outside in...newton white is affordable, i am not sure about raspberry plain.

although not in MD, I recomend 2941 which is right off 495 is stunning, with ceiling to floor windows and the prettiest waterfalls, foliage, and landscaping. It is very unexpected for where it is located and if she does a fri or sunday night wedding you get the bigger space of the two choices. We looked into it and I loved it but we couldnt agree on it. hth!

My first thought was the Atrium at Meadowlark. I am not sure what their rates are (I know they are slightly cheaper for VA residents). I also think their capacity is 150 or less. I attend an annual Xmas party there and but for the capacity limit would have seriously considered it for mine! BTW: I checked out Raspberry Plain - gorgeous, but the rental starts at $7K.

Try Old Ebbitt Grill. The weddings are in the atrium, with a LOT of greenery, open space, high glass ceiling. It was beautiful. No rental fee (obviously you have to go through them for food/beverage) but the prices were VERY reasonable. Can definitely accommodate 100+ (I think the max is 200 or 250). I highly recommend it!

The Atrium at Meadowlark is about $7K as well, and doesn't include anything. Check out Overhills Mansion in Catonsville MD... beautiful historic mansion with a lovely veranda overlooking the garden.
