Southern Colorado Wedding Location

Hi Ladies, I am originally from Pueblo, but I don't want to get married there, and now live in Texas and am trying to plan a wedding in Co. I have toyed with the idea of northern co for the wedding but am afraid of the weather, as the wedding is next december. I am looking for a small venue, about 30-40 guest to have the ceremony and reception. I would like an indoor wedding, as it will be freezing! We want an elegant yet rustic feel to it. What are some great locations in southern co, so our guests won't have to drive too far. Thanks in advance for your help!

    I highly recommend Cheyenne Canon Inn in Colorado Springs.  We had 85 guests, which was about maximum for the venue.  It's a B&B with ten guest rooms.  Beautiful great room (windows on two entire walls) for the ceremony & reception.  Nice tiered patio if we get one of those beautiful 'outdoor' December days.  Your choice of catering vendors and no restrictions on alcohol (bring your own or hire).  Check out their website for more information. . . . I found them to be very affordable, and wonderful to work with.

    i'd highly recommend the lodge at cathedral pines in the springs.  it's a gorgeous, rustic style lodge, suitable for about 80 guests max, and VERY reasonably priced.  also, it is completely open, so you can bring in any and all vendors you want without having to choose from a set list of accepted vendors.

    If you want a nice place for a reception, check out Phantom Canyon Brewery. Its in downtown Springs, and very beautiful. There is a church of every denomination in a one mile radius, too. Your guests from out of town might enjoy the micro brews they serve, also.
