Hello knotties so life has throw me a curveball recently and that is why my date has changed by a few months and why I have not been around the boards. THings were going pretty well in our life. my fiance had his daughter here in Fl ( shes 3) and was in the process of finishing a custody battle. Well on July 28th something terible happened. He was riding his motorcycle to work ( very safe driver, always wore helmet, protective gloves. etc) and was on I4 when a car say 3 ahead of him cuts across four lanes of traffic causing the van in front if him to slam on its breaks. He had maybe 15 feet of clearance and hit the back corner of the van, got thrown 30 feet in the air and landed on the hood of the car in front if him. I received the call early that morning from the hospital as I was at home watching my stepdaughter and my world crumbled at my feet. I spent the next week, every moment at the hospiayhis side. Luckily he did not suffer any brain trauma. He broken his pelvis in 3 spots has a metal plate, broke his left shoulder balde, his wrist shattered into many tiny pieces and his thumb broke as well. Long story short the hospital released him in my car to be on house rest for 2 months.. I must say I am so proud of how quickly his recovery hashappened. He can fully walk again, and has some use of his arm. I know God throw us curveballs sometimes but let me tell you it definitely put things into perspective real quick. LIfe is short so please live it to the max. Do things for yourself, not to please others... I am excited to say we have been saving and are slowly getting back on track. I know now more than ever he is the person who makes me whole and who I would never want to lose.!!!!!So new start wedding date now next november..Oh and I may have found "the dress".. Going to get my mom's opinion this week ..Fingers crossed!!!!C
