  • 1) Pizza Rolls ... I was in a  "I don't give a f*ck" mood the other night2) Chocolate chip cookies. Yummers.3) I took the mandatory "Home Ec" class in middle school (Which our PC school district called "Family Consumer Sciences. Gag.), we learned to cook and sew.4) Actually, FI does more of the "real" cooking. I HATE handling raw meat (I will actually wash my hands like 50 times between touching it and eating dinner and still feel "not clean")5) We usually order pizza. In my neck of the woods, ordering 2 pies works out cheaper than trying to cook something EVERYBODY likes (Our friends are picky and all have different tastes for the most part).

  • 1- Beef stew last Sunday.. lasted all week. Plus we had a catering tasting at our house on Sat. night and are still eating the left overs. 2- Cupcakes last weekend. 3- Only from my aunt, who is an awesome baker. Oh, and cooking gumbo from my Mema. Mom says I learned how to cool olut of self-defense. 4- ME 5- It depends on who they are and what they want. Sometimes we take them to our fave restaurant but other times we throw a bunch of veggies and whatever meat we have on the grill. It all depends on the audience.

  • What was the last thing that you cooked? sesame honey butter chicken and jasmine rice.Baked? from scratch - christmas cookies (last year!!); from a box - browniesHave you ever taken cooking/baking lessons? Besides home ec in high school and random events when I lived in New Orleans (everything revolved around food); I go to Dream Dinners once a month to prepare 12-15 dinners - I have learned a lot about spices and how different ingredients actually work together.Who cooks more: you or your man? I do more of the prep - ala dream dinners; FI does the actual cooking (he gets home from work earlier)People come over: Do you make them dinner or go out to a cool restaurant? Depends on who and the time of year - we love to grill out, but during the winter will go out to restaurants.
  • Cooked: Salami and mozzarella panini. Baked: Sugar cookies! No. I definitely cook more. We usually take people out.

  • What was the last thing that you cooked? dinner last night - stuffed shellsBaked? a carrot cake for a party a few weeks agoHave you ever taken cooking/baking lessons? only from my grandmotherWho cooks more: you or your man? me, although he does like to grillPeople come over: Do you make them dinner or go out to a cool restaurant?  depends on the occasion but usually I'll cook dinner so we can just hang out instead of feeling rushed at a restaurant
  • Last thing I cooked - homemade pizza last nightLast thing I baked - pizza crust...before that funfetti cake form a mix I brought back from the USHave I taken cooking lessons - for my 13th birthday we did a cooking lesson and made pasta from scratch. I loved it!Who cooks more - lately me...he's been working more, but I'm hoping that'll change soonPeople come over - among my friends we'll usually go out and split the bill, we don't really do big dinner parties
  • What was the last thing that you cooked? stuffed shells and my great-grandma's meatballs Baked? I have no idea, I don't bake very often. Have you ever taken cooking/baking lessons? No Who cooks more: you or your man? I do, he helps out a lot but does not believe that he follow a correctly without it being read to him. People come over: Do you make them dinner or go out to a cool restaurant? Make them dinner
  • Cooked: Honestly can't remember. H does most of that. Maybe lasagna. Baked: Chocolate pumpkin-shaped cake for the Halloween party. I took a Chinese food class, a Wilton cake decorating class, and a chocolate making class. He does. We usually make them dinner, sometimes go out. But going out is more "hey, let's go out," and not "come over... oh hey, let's go out."
  • What was the last thing that you cooked? Wow, I honestly don't remember, it may have been Christmas. I do know I will be cooking our Thanksgiving meal next week. Baked? I baked cupcakes for work on October 14th, for a Boss' day party we had. Have you ever taken cooking/baking lessons? I've never taken any cooking/baking lessons. Who cooks more: you or your man? My FI cooks pretty much all the time except major holidays. People come over: Do you make them dinner or go out to a cool restaurant? We take them out to dinner.

  • What was the last thing that you cooked? One of those premade pasta mixes last night.  Last thing from scratch was crab puffs a few weeks ago. Baked? I made Oreo truffles last night, but they didn't require baking.  So the last thing I baked would be the red velvet cake balls two weekends ago. Have you ever taken cooking/baking lessons? I took home ec in junior high, but didn't really learn much.  Who cooks more: you or your man? Definitely him.  I'm the baker though (or I will be once I get my stand mixer). People come over: Do you make them dinner or go out to a cool restaurant? Our work schedule pretty much means we have no social life, since we're usually in bed by about 8:00.  It's lame.  I guess we tend to take people to restaurants more, especially since we don't really have a dining table right now.
This is a neglected planning bio.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • What was the last thing that you cooked? I normally cook every night, but I've been sick, so I think the last thing was the crockpot pot roast on Thursday.  Baked? I made this apple oatmeal cinnamon cake last weekend.  I'm excited to do some baking next week.Have you ever taken cooking/baking lessons? Not really lessons, but I've taken a few of the one night classes at the Viking Store and Williams Sonoma.  Whenever I pay off my student loans, I want to go back and go to culinary school.Who cooks more: you or your man? Me, definately.  I normally cook 4 nights/week.  He may cook one, the rest is out/take out.People come over: Do you make them dinner or go out to a cool restaurant? Normally we go to a restaurant, but we've been pretty broke lately (and so has my BFF) so we've been taking turns cooking for each other.  It kind of fun to have another couple over and wear sweats and chill.
