Who is going to see it this weekend? I just finished the book yesterday and can't wait! I thought I was on Team Jacob, but I'm back in team Edward's camp. :P

I'm going to have to wait unless I go alone. DH will not go and my other Twilight loving friend's FI is home on his R&R until the 30th, so we might go the first weekend in December. Which seems like forever from now.Mmmmm...Jacob....mmmmm.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!

A friend and I are going on Sat afternoon. I paid extra for the 'fancy private seats' at Loews. Jacob is soo yumtastic. I can't wait to see his abs on the big screen.

I was supposed to go see it next weekedn with my MOH when she came in to town but thats a long story I'll vent about later. I'm going to see it on Sunday with my friend Jacki. Another friend of mine wanted me to go see the midnight show this week but that was just a little too much for me. Either way I'm excited!!
Jacob is soo yumtastic. I can't wait to see his abs on the big screen. OMG - THIS!!!!1! (and then I feel ashamed that I'm oogling some teenage kid like a perve)DH won't go with me. Waahaaa! I'll have to figure out some way to drag him along
I am so excited for it!! I need to get tickets, but we will probably go Sat. afternoon, b/c I am too cheap to pay $4 more to see it Fri. night. We watched Twilight this weekend in anticipation, and I finally got to watch all of the behind the scenes extras on the DVD. I'm team Edward all the way! :-)
Hmmm. I may have to look into the fancy seats at Lowe's because DH has never EVER sat in them. And Sunday is totally a 'me' day. We're going to see the Rockettes and then to see New Moon. I may as well at least let him be comfy because he will probably fall asleep.Maybe I'll have to give him a bouquet of flowers if he's good on Sunday! ;P

I wish!! DH refuses to go with me. I have no one to see it with.I'm on Team Edward, at least for now - but that could change! :)I think this movie will be a bit better than the first. I really like the books, but the first movie wasn't so great.
I agree with Erica! I wasn't a huge fan of the first movie - thought the book was WAAAY better. It was a decent Netflix choice though, but glad I didn't see it in theaters. However, since the Jacob kid got ripped between the first and second films, I would lurve to go drool over his abs How could the 2nd film not be better with improved eye candy? I was solidly in the Team Edward camp in the books, but I'm really not a fan of him in the movies. Erica, let me know if you want to have a knottie movie outing!
Jenn - Go for the fancy seats. Your DH will thank you. I try to sit in them every time I go to the movies. They make the experience sooo much better. I am definitely Team Edward in the books. But Jacob has his good qualities, too, and Bella felt so comfortable with him. It's the ol' dangerous boy versus safe boy. Although I guess a werewolf boy isn't so safe either. Haha. I agree - I didn't love Twilight the movie. I'm really hoping that New Moon is a lot better.

Completely fine with me. I'm not up for waiting an hour in line to get decent seats. Plus - DH might not be happy if I take 3 hours or more to see a movie and leave him to finish our kitchen by himself.
I streamed the first one illegally on the computer. I plan on doing the same for this one eventually. DH said yesterday that he feels the need to see Twilight because he doesn't want to miss out on the pop culture. Guess I'll end up having to watch it again
Jenn (Hey its) - lol on the flowers. I am going to try to drag DF to the movie Sunday night if I am not too hung over from my bachelorette party. Otherwise, I will probably wait to see it over thanksgiving back home where the seats are rock hard. I've never heard of the "comfy seats" at Lowe's. Maybe I will have to check them out with DF if I can get him to go!
LOL, I'm not sure a bouquet of flowers would convince my DH to go with me, haha! I have higher hopes for this movie vs. Twilight too. Hope it lives up!
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!

LOL, I'm not sure a bouquet of flowers would convince my DH to go with me, haha!Ditto this. He really hates this type of fantasy movie. Plus the fact that it's this huge pop culture phenomenon is another turn off for him.
I was supposed to see it this weekend with a friend, but her BF decided to go to camp and of course she's going with him. I'm kind of perturbed because we've had these plans for months. I might see it with my sister if she's going, otherwise I'll go with the friend the following weekend.DH will only sit in the comfy seats when we go to the waterfront!
Plus the fact that it's this huge pop culture phenomenon is another turn off for him.Mine too. And he has (14 and 15 year old) students that are obsessed with it, so that doesn't help, lol.

My best friend/BM and I are going Thursday night! We bought our advanced tickets a couple weeks ago. So excited! I'm ready to beat down some teeny-boppers to get good seats to see Edward. *drool*
DH actually read Twilight on our HM so I think he's actually kinda interested in seeing how New Moon turns out. But he def. fell asleep during Twilight when we went to see it in the theaters. hahaha

I cannot wait to see it! I have read all 4 books at least 3 times each. FI saw the first one with me and actually liked it, HOWEVER, I don't think he's going to dig the werewolves, vampires were enough for him to handle. SO, I may be going over Thanksgiving with my best friend who loves the series as well:-)

I'm going to see it next Sunday with all my bridesmaids. It will be the first time they will get to meet each other, so it should be fun! FI read a few chapters of the first book and didn't like it. After that, he read the 350 or so pages of the book that leaked online where it's from Edward's perspective and loved it.
