We want to use a really dark deep purple (think eggplant, dark plum). Any ideas for additional colors???? Maybe gold, ivory??? Can I see your pics if you have some???
Depends on the look and feel you're going for. You could do something vintage with gold and ivory, something bold with blue and green jewel tones, something understated with grey... Your options are pretty much limitless, it all depends on what you want to do with it.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
Check this website out - they have tons of different colors combinations - gives you good ideas, for you may never thought to pair certain colors together! http://theperfectpalette.blogspot.com/
I'm using deep purple for my main color, and accenting it with hot pink and lime green. Since it's going to be dark (our wedding is in February, at 6:30 pm) we wanted something bold and bright.
I am getting married next Oct, and I want eggplant as my main color and was thinking of accenting it with a raspberry and maybe a light olive green or just ivory
I was going to do shades of purple as well! I also want to incorporate sapphire blue and pops yellow-orange. Purple is my mom's birthstone, mine is Sapphire, and the FI's mom's is citrine so I wanted to have all our colors blend!
Re: help with colors
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
