  There was a photographer post this morning that mentions over a dozen different photographers. Several of them would be in your price range. Specifically Jenni from Forever-Yesterday and Stephanie Miller. Take a look at that post to get the names and check out their sites.   I used Exclamation Imagery - you can see pro pics in my bio.  She did an amazing job, and was around $1500 when we booked her, which covered 8 hours of shooting, a 4x6 print and digital negative of every picture, the rights to the pictures, up to 3 locations, a second photographer and retouching of pictures.   Since I booked her in 2008, her prices have gone up a bit, but I'm sure it's still well within your price range.She also charges mileage if you're location is more than 40 miles away from her office, but her pricing on that is very reasonable as well.

  I have used jenni at forever and kelly hahn photography both would be in your price range.

  I didn't post before, but we used Brian Ray www.brianraystudios.com  He doesn't have specific packages - but is pretty good with working within budgets.  We loved him.  Pics in wedding bio.

  I posted this in the other thread, but Stephanie Miller in Annapolis has some decent packages in that price range.  We were only lightly posed for our engagement pictures, her style is pretty natural.

  I didn't post before either, but I used Matt Fuller with Tender Images and loved him! I think his package is $2k but it includes e-pics, 2 photogs on the day of, unlimited time and a bunch of other stuff.  I think the info is on his website.  You can see some of my pics on FB if you are my friend there.

  http://meaghanelliott.com/ We LOVE her! She is a little pricy, but I think she has a package that was in your price range...Seriously tho- she is well worth what you pay. She is creative and has a great eye!! Even down to the little details like sending a gift after signing your contract and packaging your DVD in an personalized box.... amazing!
