I used your example of the program. I have it all printed up and want to do something similar with the ribbon. I have a question though, how did you get it so perfect? I love how it looks but when I tried it did not get it to look half as nice. Also what type of glue did you use?

    i live for perfection ;)  seriously they took FOREVER.  DH timed me and it took nearly 3 full minutes to glue the ribbon bands around each.  not to mention i then tied with raffia and stamped.  since i couldn't use a white glue, i used glue stick and had to hold each side down, then put in the pages of a heavy book to shut... but take out right before totally dry to make sure they didn't glue themselves together!  i used normal craft invisible glue, i think the secret was folding at least twice before so the folds were super smooth, starting the glue at one opening, wrapping around and pushing hard against the book, and then gluing other end and putting in book to dry.  lol... quite an ordeal but i've gotta say, they are my DIY project i was most proud of.

    Oh man you do live for perfection. That sounds like it took some time. I am going to have to set some time aside and really get them done. How many of them did you make?
