I went to dinner with the hubby at JR cigars place and then when to the dollar store to get ovulation kits....which was funny because the young kid asked me if they really worked..lol..now I am home to enjoy a nice glass of wine...if there is a secret MG board I think its just on facebook thats where we all usually run..hehe

    bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks 

    bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

    TFAS since February 2013--BFP on cycle 1!

    bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

    SA #1 - Slightly abnormal shape, #2 - very low count

    Follistim + IUI 3x = BFN, BFN, very late BFP with super low progesterone --> c/p

    Moving on to long protocol IVF with ICSI and PGS in August 2014...how in the holy hell did I get here? FU 2IF.

    It's like a pregnacy test though it tells you when you are ovulationing.

    I am certainly no expert on the subject, but Jen, did you ask your doctor how long you should wait before trying again? I thought there was a certain amount of time they recommended waiting.

    Yeah Tif I asked he said since my HCG was under 2 which is  a negative pregnancy test and  my uterus was empty that I could try right away if I wouldve needed a D&C or if my HCG hadnt gone down I would have had to wait

    oh sorry duhh..hehe..HCG is the  pregnancy hormone it has to be between 5-25 to detect on a pregnancy test mine had gone down to 2 which is undetectable  in your system

    ALso people usually need a d&c if they dont bleed everything out and they have to go in there and scrape it out  in which case they would recommend waiting a few months but my doctor did an ultrasound  and said my uterus had bled everything out

    Thanks ! I had it out with God in church the other night and told him how angry I was and got it out of my system and I feel a bit better  so I think it is more likely to happen if I dont feel negative

    The place has been so slow that I was just browsing over there. I tried to get into nesting about 6 months ago, but really didn't find it interesting. I didn't go back for months, but just yesterday I was so bored out of my wits that I started exploring again.

    I know this place draws you back..lol.. when I found out I was pregnant I started going to the bump and reading but its just depressing to me to go to the miscarriage /loss board because it makes me be more sad

    dont worry I will just tell you when I ovulate..LOL...I almost made a ticker on the bump when I found out and then realized it would show over here before I revealed myself it was kinda funny...Yes we had a cute date night   and we talked last night and he said you cant even tell your family next time if you get pregnant and made me pinky swear i would only tell him.....I told him I am telling the knotties  if I get pregnant no doubt I dont care how early it is  they have been there for me:)

    What's the difference between an ovulation kit and charting? I never knew you had to know all this stuff about getting pregnant. I thought all you needed to know was what you already know! ;]

    Well Mel only because I am so anxious and a little bit older than everyone I want to try as much as I can  if I had another 10 years to try I wouldnt be so worried but the ovulation predicator can track your LH surge which then gives you a window of time when you will probably ovulate

    charting I think has to do with watching your temp everyday and when you see a rise in the temp it means you are close to ovulation
