Vintage car rentals?

Anybody done/doing this? I'd love 30's gangster car, or a 50's classic to take us to the hotel, but I'm not sure how big of a splurge that would be. Any ideas for where to start? TIA!

we hired a rolls royce from larry gerry- not sure if his rates have changed but you can call for a current estimate Classic Rolls Royce Limousine Service 407-682-4370 / 407-257-6480 *$150 per hour with a 3-hour minimum

I think Bentley Baby uses VIP Limo or VIP Transportation, something VIP. I can't remember what their rates our... I also know someone with a Jag, I can't remember his number off the top of my head, but my Dad met him at some networking thing and it's not a vintage car, but it was beautiful and clean.  The Driver was on time (early), SO NICE, and really great to work with. Let me know if you want the Jag guy's info.

We used the same folks for our Rolls. We had a questionable experience but it was 5 yrs ago. If you like that car, I would give them the benefit of the doubt. OH< I KNOW!!! Go to Olde Towne on one of their cruise in night and see if something catches your eye. Then ask the owner if they would be willing to do it. Have a price in mind that you are willing to pay. Worth a shot at least.

Ahhhh Amy that's a frickin' fantastic idea! That'll be exactly the kinds of cars we were thinking! We aren't really into the Rolls thing (not that it isn't fabulous), but I think the kinds of cars we'd see at Old Towne would really fit better with what we're doing. Yay! Thanks for all the ideas, gals. :)

Off topic, as is my style around here..... we wont be at thanksgiving. Going to the ACC game on the 5th. Not making the drive twice. I hereby bequeath my portion of black olives to you. I have never used this company but I googled classic car rental orlando and this came uphttp://www.sirrandolphsclassictransportation.com/classic.htmlIt could be worth looking into. I like the Olde Town idea. Do you go there a lot? One of our really good friends goes every week and knows a lot of the guys there if you ever want me to talk to him.

You're thinking right up my alley - I have a pic of a Belair on my bio as one of my ideas. :) Dammit, hate that you won't be there for Thanksgiving, but I that is a hike for you guys. Black olives.... nom nom nom... :D

Lolo, I haven't actually ever been to Old Towne that I know of. If you don't mind asking your friend if he thinks the folks there would do something like that, I'd appreciate it! Since we're doing the whole she-bang at one location, we don't need to be driven around all day, just picked up after the reception and taken to the hotel, I guess. Thanks!

I will see him in a few day and I will ask him for you :) I will let you know what he says. I wish he had a cooler car but I doubt you want to be drivin around in a Caprise!
