Videgoraphy...

Are you doing it?What are your thoughts on it...I mean maybe in 20 years having a video of it would be nice...Do you know of any photographers who do both??

I love my videographer! I know that I love watching videos more than I like looking at pictures... although I do love old pictures too. But videos capture the sparkle in someones eye while pictures can miss that.My videographer also does photography and offers a package with both services. http://www.hdvideomemories.com/http://marrphotography.com/

I want a video, but I don't feel like a professional one is necessary. I just want to be able to watch our ceremony. I'm going to either find a family member who owns a video camera or purchase one and ask someone to record the ceremony.

Yeah, we hadn't even considered a Videographer, until FMIL brought it up, and I guess its really important to her. I never go back and watch old videos, but I look at pictures a lot.... I think we are going to see if a friend can do it.

I'm really sad we weren't able to have one. By the time I realized I wanted one, we didn't have the budget left for it. I reeeeallly wish I would have thought about it sooner...

The only way to get a good answer to this question is to ask couples who got a video. It's hard to know whether you'll watch it or not watch it until after the wedding. It will also depend on whether the company you hire makes an interesting movie or a totally lame one.

We are SO glad we got one. DH's grandparents couldnt come last minute (Gma got sick and cant travel) and the video is beautiful. We used a guy named Tyler Faires (www.tylerfaires.com). He's just starting so he's affordable, but did an amazing music video and includes a lot in his package.

What about all the stuff that you're going to miss! Our videographer took guest interviews at cocktail hour. They shot the BP intro that we wouldn't be able to see because we were last in. And when my parents are no longer here that's probably going to be my favorite video because I can see their faces and hear their voices.
