What to pay a Day-Of Coordinator in SW Virginia?

My aunt's best friend, who has event coordinating experience and lives in the town where I am getting married, is going to be my day-of coordinator for my wedding.  Since my aunt has approached her about doing it, the interaction was very casual.  How do I breach the subject about either (1) what she charges or (2) what I should pay her?  I don't think she does this for a career, so I'm not sure if she has a set rate.  If she doesn't, what is an acceptable amount to pay her?

I can tell you that we just hired a "Day-Of" Coordinator.  What she is basically doing is:
     - Setting out minimal favors/doing minimal set-up (if we need help),
     - Contacting all vendors about 2 weeks prior to make sure that everything is set in stone and there are no problems as of yet,
     - Contacting a local hotel to block a set of rooms
     - And then timelines for the ceremony as well as reception.

$425 is what we are paying her.

She did give us advice on a rental place so we can get some chairs.

You can speak with her again and mention that you know it was brought up to her, and just ask what her going rate is.

    Good luck.

I would speak with her and ask what she charges. It might seem weird, but you've got to do it. We asked a friend to decorate for us. He isn't charging, so we're planning to give him $100.
