Winter Park Village... and I will have to check on the ticket prices. I don't think the earlier showings are cheaper though.

Okay I lied... there is a 2pm and 2:30pm showing and it is $8.00 an adult and the 4:30 and later movies are $10.00 an adult or $8.50 for a student. I just thought a early evening showing would be a little less crowded cause people will be at dinner.

You're right, looks like the movie has to be before 3:00pm or something to get the matinee price (wtf is up with that?!). Anyway, I would prefer either 4:30 or 5.

Whatever time we pick I think we should plan on getting than an hour early so we can get our tickets and make sure we can get seats together :-)

2:30. FYI, just so nobody gets mad, I may not go if we do an evening showtime. I have to to proof/edit/compile work from 4 different teammates for a 10 page paper and they are submitting their info to me by the end of the day Saturday. I plan to go watch the movie as early as possible and then spend my entire evening doing my school work. I won't be mad if you guys choose a later show time, but I wanted to let you know! There is a chance I could make the 4:30 but I strongly prefer the 2:30.

i talked to charisma this morning, and out of the times jess mentioned she preferred the 4:30 or a matinee!

I prefer the 4:30 but only because I have training at H's work and not sure what time I will get out and its all the way out at the FL mall.

I may just go to the lunch or something before if you guys do that. I leave for NOLA on Tuesday and am sure I'll be busy packing up. For future movie stuff, I highly recommend you go to the website www.buylocalorlando.net. It tells you where you can get a free Buy Local card. You pay 1/2 price at the new downtown Orlando movie theater for any time and any movie. It's awesome to only pay $4.50 for a night movie! Also, there are tons of merchants that participate in other discounts (ie. free appetizers or % off your bill for some thornton park places). I will keep following this post to see if you wind up doing lunch/coffee before or after!

I also just wanted to say another great thing about downtown Orlando theater is that they have a bar and you can literally bring a bottle of wine or bucket of beer in to the theater. I wouldn't recommend it for the GTG because parking is sometimes difficult and not everyone can get their buy local cards by then.

IMO, the earlier, the better..if we can do it earlier, that'd be nice..Out of the 3 above: 4:30.

I prefer 4:30 or later. I'm going to a friend's next-day wedding reception at 1 and will come to the movie if it's later. 2:30 would be too early for me.

But don't plan around me!
