Holy Registry Glitch

My aunt sent us a bike rack that we registered for on MyRegistry.com, or so the registry tells us. It was purchased through target. When we got home from Hawaii, we had 3 identical boxes, which I haven't had the time to open yet. I was thinking it was all the bike rack, just in 3 boxes, although that scared me because it is supposed to be a space saving rack.

Apparently today we received 2 more identical packages, each marked "1 of 1". We don't own 10 bikes. WTH am I supposed to do with 5 double bike racks, with no knowledge of who bought them? FFS, I guess I'll have to call them and tell them to stop sending me bike racks.

I guess they could be really tall towel holders, but we really don't have room for that many. I could put them on the back porch and hang plants from them.

Cew has some really great ideas. I particularly like the lawn reindeer.

Or perhaps set them up in the yard for an obstacle course ala The Gauntlet on American Gladiators?

all great ideas!

I called target and they couldn't tell me anything because the products were sent straight from the manufacturer and the Target order number is not on the slip. Coincidence that they were all ordered the same day as my aunt marked it as purchased on our registry (not connected to Target's system).

So now I have to schlepp them all to my nearest Target store and pray for a CSR that knows what they are doing to figure out who sent them. Good news is that I can return them there. Weird.

If I had a front lawn, I'd definitely put some out there.. with lights.
