QOTD: Wednesday

If you could meet anyone from the bible, who would it be?

Re: QOTD: Wednesday

  • I would like to meet Mary, Jesus' mom. I can't even imagine how she felt knowing she carried the Messiah. She had to have felt a ton of pressure knowing she wasn't married, etc. She truly is an amazing woman.

  • Hmm... I'd say Jesus, but hey, I already know Him! :)

I think Paul. I really like him. He's got such a colorful personality that comes through in his writings. And there's so much debate about what he meant at times. I'd love to ask him, for example, what the letters he was replying to originally said. I think a lot of our understanding of those letters would be impacted by what he was replying to!

  • Pretty easy: Jesus.

  • Noah's wife.  You have to wonder what she was thinking when her husband started building the Ark in the middle of the desert.  And to top it off, she was stuck on that boat with her family and all those animals...including all those little pests...and she let them live!  I mean seriously...I probably would have thrown the mosquitos and stink bugs overboard.  But that's why I wasn't Noah's wife.

  • I'd like to meet Paul. He had a drastic transformation from persecuting Christians to bring lots and lots of Christians to faith.
