Day Of Coordination?

Anyone else using a Day Of Coordinator? My FI is insisting on one because he knows how I get and wants me to enjoy the day without having to worry about everything.

I have heard it's the best money you will spend on your wedding. I plan to have one, only because I do not want the added stress and I wan't my mom to be able to enjoy the day as well.

I've heard from friends the same thing - that it was absolutely worth it and the best investment they could make that day. There are so many things you don't want to have to worry about - tipping people, making sure things are on time, reprimanding people if they aren't doing their jobs correctly, setting things up, etc. - I just can't imagine having to do that on our wedding day.

I've had my partial planner booked since June.

My venue sort of comes with one and I'm grateful for it. I kinda wish she were full time and help me coordinate now though haha!

I think its worth the money. I'm having one. I have a family friend helping on the day of. She plans weddings as a 2nd job.

My venue comes with a DOC...thank goodness. otherwise, I would likely hire one

My venue includes a Day of Coordinator, so yes I will be having one.

My venue comes with two Day of Coordinators and I am so happy for that! If it didn't I would def. be getting one. They are extremely helpful and you want to have the least stress as possible on your wedding day.

I was thiking of having one, but know it wouldn't matter if I did or not, I'd have to go and over see everything anyways I'm a tiny bit of a perfectionist, so it would end up being a waste of money.

I have way too much help from family/friends to bother hiring one. Seems like a waste of money for my situation.

I have one, I moved to NY just recently, most of my friends come from FL, including BMs and MOH (they are out of town and I would hate to bother them working on my wedding day). My family is coming from Poland (they dont speak English), and my FI's family.... lets just say Im hoping they come on time to our ceremony. I definitely need someone to help, otherwise I will have to do things on my own. Its all small things but all together its few hours of work. Set up escord card table, guestbook table, decorate ceremony site, table nubers, menus.... its all with my coordinator. Plus I got a really good price (for NY reality). I want to be stress free on my wedding day (I mean as much as possible, lol).

Our venue has one and she is wonderful, so glad that we are provided with one because it will make the day run so much smoother and its a huge plus that she already knows the in's and out's our the facility.

Our venue comes with one thankfully. Also she said that the owners of the place usually help out at weddings so we'll actually be getting 3 probably haha. That reminds me I need to make a meeting with her for February!

Decided to hire one. After talking to some of my friends who got married a long time ago (most of my friends have been married 5+ years; since we are all in our 30's) and every one of them wished they had hired a DOC.

It will be so nice to not have to worry about setting up/tearing down and coordinating all the vendors!!
