Invitations on a budget

Hi Ladies,

Does anyone have a good recommendations on where I can go in the CBUS area for invitations? I am on a tight budget and dont' want to spend a lot on them.

Thanks!

</div><div>If you have time, keep your eye out for Groupons for vistaprint.com or Mixbook.com.  That's what I did for our save the dates& Invite.  Or look around at Target or Micheal's for the printable invitations when they go on clearance.   Sorry I'm really no help when it comes to actual local invitation vendors.</div>

  • I made mine on mixbook.com. I spent under $100 with a coupon.

  • I bought my invites on sale at michaels, we have to print them, but we got 120 invites for 45, so I was pretty happy!

Hobby Lobby has a whole aisle of DIY invitations. Watch their sale ads - they go on sale quite often. For my first wedding, I designed them myself in Photoshop (being a student is great sometimes :D ) and then printed them at Kinkos. I think I spent about $35 for 80 invitations.

  • You can buy a design from a graphic designer (on Etsy, for example) for anywhere from $20-$100 and have them printed.  I don't remember exact prices, but we took ours to Monks printing and it was something like $50 for 130 invitations.

  • We considered doing the DIY invites from Michaels, but we bought a test box and it seemed like a lot more trouble then it would end up being worth.  We bought our invitations from magnetstreet.com, and they are really lovely and inexpensive.  I suggest checking them out!
