  • Honestly, stop stressing. That's the best thing you can do - it may go perfect, there may be some bumps that day. But whatever happens YOU are the only one who knows what it was supposed to be like. Everyone else will just be there to see you get married and have fun for the evening. Nobody is going to know that something tiny happened behind the scenes that wasn't supposed to.

Have fun. Enjoy yourself. And take it all in, because it truly does go by super fast and before you know it, the night is over.

  • Checklists are lifesavers (but I loved them before wedding planning, lol)!  It does come all together, but it doesn't really feel like it until a couple days before.  Like PP said, stuff will happen and things will go wrong, so just expect that you'll have to deal with some unexpected issues, but they get resolved and nobody will know what happened (case in point: Men's warehouse lost 2 tuxes and had to piece together non matching tuxes the day before the wedding.  Nobody noticed except those who knew what happened)

I think the best thing to do is to plan in some de-stressing time once a week or so too, to keep your sanity.  DH and I went on a long hike the monday before our wedding, and it truly helped us blow off a lot of steam and just have fun before we had to do the rehearsal and had all of our OOT guests come.  I highly recommend it.
