When Do August Invites Go Out?

When are you ladies planning on ordering invites and when do you plan to send them out? I'm August 4th so I feel I'm practically on a July time frame and it's OOT for all guests. Debating if I should at least order them soon.

We haven't decided when we are sending them out yet, but we got our invites from Michaels 4 months ago. We just need to bring them in to staples or somewhere to have them printed on. I already have what the invitation will say typed up along with the rsvp card.

I've always heard 4 -8 weeks. 4 Makes me nervous so I'll go more towards 8, I'm August 12th so I'm thinking end of June

I'm going to send mine out after the shower. The wedding is August 18, and the shower is June 10, so probably the week after June 10 I will send them out!

My shower is also that weekend

I am going to send my out probably 8 weeks before. We have a lot of oot guests and i have a "secondary list" that i am printing up with separate rsvp dates- so if i get a few no's i can send their invites.

Alos what is everyone's RSVP date going to be ? How many weeks before. I was thinking 4 weeks.

I'm an August 4th bride and our invite will be in the mail on June 2nd.

And our RSVP date will be June 30th.

Like the others have stated, we have 78% of out of town guests, so I want them to have the invite sooner rather than later.

I am thinking of doing the same... how long of a difference in dates are you putting?

Our guest list is so over the top..I was thinking this was a great option without anyone feeling slighted (by getting the invite days before the RSVP date...

As for OP I think I'm going with the 8 week mark- end of May

This is the timeline I am considering:
Wedding Date: August 18
we'll have about 200+ guests, and about 25% OOT

STDs are going out early february (hopefully 1st week)
Shower invites late april or 1st week may (for late June showers)
Shower RSVPs by may 30
Wedding invites no later than mid May
RSVP for wedding by early July (10th maybe?)

I'm an August 11th bride. Probably 25% OOT guests.
My Save the Dates are going out around the last week in Feb.
Invitations going out June 15th and RSVP date will be 2 weeks before the event.

I'm August 3rd and just ordered my invite. I have a lot of OOT guests I'm sending them out 6 weeks in advance (June 1st).

Sending them out in June with most likely an early July RSVP (we're having a weekday wedding so even though most of the guests are pretty local we still want to give a LOT of notice!) and our most of our STDs (still need to track down some addresses) should be going out this weekend.

My wedding is August 19th...i sent out save the dates last week, invites will go out the beginning of may and rsvp's will be June 19th....because you know some people are going send them back late!!! hahaha My wedding is considered a destination wedding....I'm getting married 2 hours from where I live and ALL of my guests need to travel for it!!! So I need a good idea of who's coming and who's not so that if need be I can invite my B list!!!
