Ceremony music

For those of you who are not getting married in a church (or even if you are), what are you doing for ceremony music? Obviously an organ is out so I'm thinking maybe a harpist, but I don't know. I'm having a DJ, but I'd like to have live music as I walk down the aisle. Any thoughts/recomendations?

We are getting married in a church, but will have a solo sax player and a piano player. The organ was out for us regardless of where we got married.

We're using a harpist, Karen Stern. She's been great to work with.

I'm getting married at my venue and just using my DJ. I couldn't justify spending $400+ on live music for 30 minutes. We are using songs from Vitamin String Quartet to keep it classic with the violins but more modern with songs people will know.

We are getting married at our venue and our DJ is playing the traditional music you would hear at a church wedding.

We are having an acoustic guitar. We are going to have him play more contemporary music. It is the guitarist from our band though, so it is only an extra $100 to have him play the ceremony.

I wanted an acoustic guitar but we wound up using our DJ instead. He also made sure the ceremony was "mic-ed" so everyone could hear. We asked him to play more contemporary music rather than the classic stuff.

our dj came early and played songs i had chosen specifically for the wedding.

bridal party procession: only hope - switchfoot
bride procession - a thousand years - christina perri
recession - you're the one - tyrone wells

everyone said they loved them! i know they brought a lot of tears from the guests..haha.
