Beach house reception?!

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a beach house to host a casual beach reception at. Anywhere in the Tampa Bay area. Has anyone rented a house recently that allows weddings and that's not crazy expensive? I don't want to spend more than +-$2,000 on the house and we're looking at +-70 guests. I'd like to keep it casual and on the beach. I figured we could stay there with our parents and have everyone over the day of for a beach wedding and then reception at the house.

Any ideas?? Finding it really hard looking online to spot the houses that allow events.

This beachhouse is on Anna Maria Island (Bradenton). It sleeps 20, has ample parking, and hosts weddings and parties all the time. My family has rented it many times and it's such an awesome house! It's not directly on the beach, but right down the road.

This is not exactly what you are looking for...but Honeymoon Island state park has some wedding packages....there was a reasonable one for a lunchtime/afternoon wedding...
also...have you tried VRBO? Try to find a big house and contact the owner personally....

Thanks guys! I'll look into Honeymoon Island state park. I've looked on VRBO and contacted multiple owners about having the reception. Some places that used to, don't allow events anymore, and not a single person I've contacted will allow or can help refer me. =O( My main concern is finding a house that has a nice outdoor area and is on the beach.

I did find one gorgeous house in Anna Maria, but it's $4,500!! Yikes. If only ..........
