We are 19 days from the wedding and just finished our final RSVP count. Tonight our officiant called to say he has family coming to town and will not be available on the day of our wedding.
I'm sure we'll find someone, but it's just one more (very important) thing to do when I'm checking things off my list. We were planning to have the local justice officiate and he agreed when we contacted him back in February. I've also spoken with him about specifics since then, so it's a little frustrating that he waited until three weeks before the wedding to change his mind and say he can't do it...
