    Haha yikes. Thats a mess of phone calls! Mine arent even out yet! This weekend I swear I will have them done!

    Wow!  Do you have to give a headcount to your caterer soon or do you have some time?

    I have time.... I don't technically need a final headcount until like the week before, but it is difficult to budget and make payments when we don't have a solid (or even remotely close to solid) number.

    I am going to wait until my spring break to start calling everyone.... hoping some of the procrastinators will get theirs back in the next 2 weeks. 

    My biggest concern was everyone being able to secure a hotel room and travel arrangements for a good price (wedding is Memorial weekend... prime time travel)... so the longer they wait, the more expensive everything gets.  I sent the invites and made the RSVP wicked early to kind of prod people to get moving on their travel arrangements.  As you can see, that worked out well.  Tongue out

    I'm not sure if this is the case, but I read somewhere that a lot of people will wait to send in their RSVPs the date it is due. So maybe the majority of them sent them out yesterday? Hopefully you will start getting in the rest soon.

    I am having the same issue, although I have more time, my wedding is July 2nd and half of the 200 people invited are from out of town, the reception is in Caz and there are only 3 places to stay in the village, otherwise its at least 20 min to a hotel closer to the city and with an open bar thats not the best idea...I let all the out of town guests know they should book a room ASAP and only one couple has....at this point I decided I cannot keep worrying about it, there are bigger things I need to concentrate on and it will work itself out, hopefully they aren't slackers on the RSVP's though!
