Venue!

Im looking for a place to throw a carnival theme reception in the summer 2013... we would love it to be outdoors but Im having a lot of trouble finding options.  Anyone have any suggestions??

    It isn't outdoors, but there is a restaurant in the city called Carnivale that is phenomonal and I know they do weddings!

    I agree about carnivale...i think they are relatively inexpensive too. otherwise, if your budget allows, you could always do navy pier...they have the ferris wheel, swings, etc.

    Hi!  I'm getting married at Carnivale this summer and would definitely recommend it. 
    They have a really nice private party room that holds up to abotu 130 people (I think).
    It's not really "carnival" themed though, but it is fun and festive.  I wouldn't say it's cheap...I don't know how it compares to other city venues, but it will probably be costing us close to $200 per person (though maybe that is cheap by Chicago standards?)
