Vendor (photographer) Rave!

Although, I've been married for 5 years.  I've always come back to this community site when I need reviews or input about various vendors.  I am so excited to post a vendor review of my own.  Recently, my DH and our little one (LO) came up from Richmond, VA for a family photo session at UMCP.  We chose our photographer  because we loved his style...very natural and care-free and his pricing was very reasonable.   We had a blast!  James was very professional and at the same time he was very re-laxed.  He got along great with our son and was able to capture great pics of our son and us interacting.  James kept in touch with me all the way up to the day photo-session.  He even sent me links of various spots on campus for ideas and inspiration. He kept in touch with me after our session and kept me up to date on the status of our photos.  He had our portraits posted for viewing in approx. a week!  We love the pics soo much.  He was able to capture some pics of me and my DH which I love especially since I missed out on having engagement portraits done.  What I love most of all was how flexible James was for our session.

yea its probably best not to make your first post a vendor review since it kinda makes you look like a vendor promoting yourself...and thats not allowed on here.

Sorry.  Didn't want to make it seem like I was promoting.   My wedding back in 2004 was in Richmond,VA  so most of my vendors were in that area.  The only DC vendors i used was Estee (seamstress) in the MD/DC area.  Most of "wedding related" posts were inquiries and postings for the Richnond area.  We also skimped on much our wedding items and did alot of DIY projects hence not much vendor reviews overall... also got my dress via Discount Bridal services which is now bankrupt.   Anywho, I am just excited about my pics as we didn't have a real photographer at out wedding so these photo sessions are making up for it.  We came back up to my ole stomping ground UMCP for our session so I posted here since it was  a MD/DC area photographer.   I've removed references to the photographer with the exception of his first name.

If I am violating any rules please let me know.

Unless you're a vendor, it's not violating rules.  People just get suspicious when your only post is about a vendor.

I would most certainly remove your and H's first and last names from this post, though.  That's just not safe/smart.

How can people be suspicious when there is no link to the business?
    Again - James who?
